She now works with legal professionals, corporations and media organisations on cases that require precision, persistence and independent analysis.

Her work progresses cases that have stalled. Her investigative reporting and evidence analysis have supported legal proceedings, coronial applications and criminal matters.
Julia’s podcast investigations have produced significant real-world outcomes. Her series Chasing Charlie contributed to the arrest and imprisonment of a long-running international conman. Her 2024 investigation Troubled Waters uncovered new factual material in the death of Louisa Ioannidis, leading the Victorian Coroners Court to reopen the case in 2025.
Julia was named Investigator of the Year by the Council of International Investigators in 2024. Troubled Waters was nominated for Best New Show at the Australian Podcast Awards and appeared in multiple end-of-year selections by Apple Podcasts.
Her media work includes serving as the sole investigator on Network TEN’s Long Lost Family, where she completed several successful reunifications. She also contributed to Mix FM’s PI Case Files, helping the program achieve its first number one breakfast ranking.
